Youth Safety and Minor Protection Policy

1. PURPOSE
Talent Share Corporation ("Talent Share," "TSC," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, respectful, and age-appropriate environment for children and minors who participate in educational, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, consulting, sports, arts, and skill-sharing activities through the Talent Share platform ("Platform").
This Youth Safety and Minor Protection Policy ("Policy") establishes requirements, safeguards, responsibilities, restrictions, and enforcement measures designed to protect minors and promote safe interactions among Talent Providers, Talent Seekers, parents, guardians, and all Platform users.
The safety, dignity, privacy, and well-being of minors are among Talent Share's highest priorities.
2. SCOPE
This Policy applies to:
- All Talent Providers
- All Talent Seekers
- Parents and legal guardians
- Minors under eighteen (18) years of age
- Employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates of Talent Share
- All programs, sessions, communications, content, and interactions conducted through the Platform
3. DEFINITIONS
Minor
A "Minor" means any individual under eighteen (18) years of age or any other age designated by applicable law.
Parent or Guardian
A "Parent or Guardian" means a parent, legal guardian, or individual legally authorized to make decisions on behalf of a Minor.
Talent Provider
A Talent Provider is an individual or organization offering instruction, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, consulting, workshops, seminars, athletic training, artistic instruction, educational services, or similar activities through the Platform.
Talent Seeker
A Talent Seeker is an individual who enrolls in, attends, or participates in a program through the Platform.
4. PARENTAL CONSENT AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
Children Under 13
Children under thirteen (13) years of age may not independently create accounts or participate in programs unless:
- Permitted by Talent Share;
- Authorized by a verified parent or guardian; and
- Participation complies with applicable laws, including COPPA.
Minors Ages 13–17
Minors aged thirteen (13) through seventeen (17) may participate only when:
- Required parental consent has been obtained;
- Platform requirements have been satisfied;
- Participation complies with applicable laws; and
- Talent Share approves participation where required.
Verification
Talent Share may require:
- Parent or guardian identity verification;
- Proof of legal guardianship;
- Emergency contact information;
- Minor identity verification;
- Signed consent forms;
- Additional documentation reasonably necessary to protect minors.
5. PARENT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Parents and guardians may:
- Review their child's account information;
- Review enrolled programs;
- Request correction of information;
- Request deletion of information where legally permitted;
- Withdraw consent for participation;
- Report safety concerns;
- Request copies of consent records;
- Monitor and supervise their child's participation.
Parents are encouraged to:
- Attend or observe sessions involving younger children;
- Review Talent Provider qualifications;
- Maintain accurate account information;
- Monitor communications involving their child.
Talent Share may require parental participation or supervision for certain age groups, activities, or higher-risk programs.
6. PROVIDER ELIGIBILITY AND VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Talent Providers interacting with minors may be required to complete:
Identity Verification
- Government-issued photo identification;
- Address verification;
- Contact verification;
- Additional verification procedures deemed necessary.
Background Screening
Where permitted by law, Talent Share may require:
- Criminal background checks;
- Sex offender registry checks;
- Identity verification checks;
- Reference verification;
- Professional credential verification.
Talent Share reserves the right to deny, suspend, restrict, or revoke authorization to work with minors at any time.
7. PROVIDER CONDUCT STANDARDS
Talent Providers must:
- Act professionally at all times;
- Maintain appropriate boundaries;
- Treat minors respectfully and fairly;
- Use age-appropriate language and conduct;
- Follow all applicable child-protection laws;
- Report safety concerns immediately.
Providers shall never:
- Exploit or manipulate minors;
- Pressure, intimidate, threaten, or coerce minors;
- Establish inappropriate personal relationships;
- Request unnecessary personal information.
8. MINOR CONDUCT STANDARDS
Minors using the Platform must:
- Treat others respectfully;
- Refrain from bullying, harassment, threats, discrimination, or abusive conduct;
- Follow Platform rules;
- Report inappropriate behavior to a parent, guardian, or Talent Share.
Talent Share maintains protections against inappropriate conduct by both adults and other minors.
9. ZERO-TOLERANCE PROHIBITED CONDUCT
The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
Grooming
Any attempt to establish inappropriate emotional dependency, secrecy, trust manipulation, or personal relationships with a minor.
Sexual Misconduct
Any sexualized communication, content, request, image, video, discussion, or interaction involving a minor.
Child Exploitation
Any conduct involving exploitation, abuse, trafficking, solicitation, or endangerment of minors.
Harassment and Bullying
Bullying, intimidation, humiliation, stalking, discrimination, coercion, or threats.
Cyberbullying
Online harassment, doxxing, intimidation, hate speech, or digital abuse.
Unsafe Conduct
Encouraging illegal, dangerous, violent, reckless, or self-destructive behavior.
10. COMMUNICATION AND CONTACT RESTRICTIONS
Platform-Approved Communications
Communications involving minors should occur exclusively through Talent Share-approved systems.
Talent Providers shall not:
- Request off-platform communication;
- Contact minors through personal channels;
- Encourage migration to external services;
- Circumvent Platform communication controls.
Prohibited Information Exchange
The following may not be exchanged with minors without appropriate parental authorization:
- Personal phone numbers;
- Personal email addresses;
- Social media accounts;
- Messaging application accounts;
- Residential addresses;
- Personal websites;
- External meeting links;
- Personal video conferencing accounts.
Off-Platform Relationship Restrictions
Providers may not establish personal, social, romantic, mentoring, coaching, consulting, tutoring, or business relationships with minors outside the Platform.
This restriction applies during and after participation on the Platform.
11. PRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF MINOR INFORMATION
Users shall not request, collect, store, disclose, or share a minor's:
- Social Security Number;
- Passport information;
- Driver's license information;
- Financial information;
- Banking information;
- Credit card information;
- Personal passwords;
- Sensitive health records;
- Government-issued identification information.
Only information reasonably necessary for participation may be collected.
12. PROGRAM CONTENT STANDARDS
Programs involving minors must be age-appropriate.
The following content is prohibited:
- Pornographic content;
- Sexually explicit material;
- Graphic violence;
- Hate speech;
- Illegal activity promotion;
- Drug or substance abuse promotion;
- Gambling promotion;
- Self-harm content;
- Dangerous online challenges;
- Discriminatory content;
- Abusive language.
Talent Share reserves the right to remove content deemed inappropriate for minors.
13. LIVE SESSION SAFETY CONTROLS
To protect minors, Talent Share may implement:
- Session moderation;
- Session monitoring;
- Session recording;
- Attendance tracking;
- Identity verification procedures;
- Human safety reviews;
- Automated safety systems;
- AI-assisted content review.
Talent Share may audit sessions involving minors at any time.
Parents may be required or permitted to observe certain sessions.
14. RECORDING, MONITORING, AND AI SAFETY SYSTEMS
Communications and sessions involving minors may be monitored, logged, reviewed, analyzed, retained, and investigated for:
- Child safety protection;
- Compliance reviews;
- Abuse prevention;
- Fraud prevention;
- Dispute resolution;
- Legal compliance.
Talent Share may utilize artificial intelligence and automated systems to identify:
- Grooming behavior;
- Harassment;
- Threats;
- Sexual misconduct;
- Predatory communications;
- Child safety risks;
- Policy violations.
Where required by law, notice and consent will be obtained before recording.
Unauthorized recording, sharing, or distribution of content involving minors is prohibited.
15. REPORTING SAFETY CONCERNS
Users must immediately report:
- Child abuse;
- Child exploitation;
- Grooming behavior;
- Harassment;
- Bullying;
- Inappropriate communications;
- Threats;
- Safety concerns;
- Policy violations.
Reports may be submitted through Platform reporting tools or designated support channels.
16. MANDATORY REPORTING AND LEGAL COOPERATION
Where required by law, Talent Share may report suspected:
- Child abuse;
- Child exploitation;
- Child endangerment;
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM);
- Human trafficking;
- Other unlawful conduct.
Talent Share may cooperate with law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, courts, and child protection organizations.
17. INVESTIGATION PROCEDURES
Talent Share may investigate any suspected violation of this Policy.
Users agree to cooperate fully.
Investigations may include review of:
- Communications;
- Session recordings;
- Enrollment records;
- Identity verification records;
- Technical logs;
- Account activity;
- Other relevant information.
18. EMERGENCY SAFETY ACTIONS
Talent Share may immediately:
- Suspend accounts;
- Restrict communications;
- Remove content;
- Cancel programs;
- Withhold payments;
- Restrict access;
- Terminate accounts;
- Notify parents or guardians;
- Notify law enforcement;
- Notify regulatory authorities.
No prior notice is required where a minor's safety may be at risk.
19. ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES
Violations may result in:
- Warnings;
- Program cancellation;
- Content removal;
- Payment holds;
- Account suspension;
- Permanent account termination;
- Blacklisting from the Platform;
- Referral to law enforcement;
- Civil or criminal legal action.
Talent Share reserves the right to take any action reasonably necessary to protect minors, users, the Platform, and the public.
20. DATA RETENTION
Talent Share may retain:
- Safety reports;
- Investigation records;
- Session recordings;
- Communications;
- Consent records;
- Audit logs;
for periods reasonably necessary to:
- Protect users;
- Resolve disputes;
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Investigate violations;
- Support child safety initiatives.
21. NO GUARANTEE OF SAFETY
Although Talent Share employs monitoring systems, reporting tools, moderation procedures, identity verification, parental controls, AI-assisted safety systems, and other protective measures, Talent Share cannot guarantee that all harmful conduct will be prevented, detected, or eliminated.
Parents, guardians, Talent Providers, and Talent Seekers remain responsible for exercising appropriate judgment, supervision, and caution.
22. POLICY UPDATES
Talent Share reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.
Updated versions will become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
